It's close to 6 months old now and a little worried about the capacity issue, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. The only odd thing is that when you start the shower and adjust the water temperature, halfway through getting it wet, the heat goes up a notch and has to be readjusted. Turning the water on a minute or two earlier solved that problem.
It comes with adapters, but they leak. I've tried several Teflon tapes, including 535 thread sealant, and it still leaks. It also comes with a compression fitting for 1/2 copper tubing. Be sure to use two wrenches to tighten the compression fittings. I cut some short copper tubing and replaced it with Pex tubing using the shark bite fittings. No more leaks. Works great.
We installed it ourselves with the help of a home electrician. I was surprised at how well it worked and how much water pressure we got after switching from tank to tank. It also gained a lot of space in the laundry room.
